OralAI received 1st place at the International Science & Engineering Fair, a $5,000 total grand prize given to the top ~30 teams globally and top 2 projects in the Biomedical Engineering (ENBM) category. ISEF is the largest science fair competition in the world with 2000 finalists picked annually to compete, coming from over 75 countries and a pool of 30,000,000 students participating worldwide at ISEF-affiliated fairs.
We also obtained tuition scholarships from Arizona State University (ASU) worth $58,000 each for our innovation, and we were individually scouted, interviewed, and featured in Business Insider and DentistryIQ. Some of our other distinctions:
Oral diseases have been on the rise, with it now being estimated that 45% of the global population, or 3.5 billion people, suffer from them (World Health Organization, 2022).
Dentist appointments can be sparse and expensive, leading to issues with dental hygiene being undiagnosed before it's too late. Additionally, many people don't go to the dentist due to fear or anxiety.
Poor dental health has been linked to the development of cancer, cardiovascular diseases, and many other serious issues by studies in the past (Aida et al., 2011; Chung et al., 2019).
We partner with dental insurance companies and clinics to provide discounts and products for free. Check with them to see if our product is included!
No, we don't force you into any long-term contracts. Our best price is available as an annual subscription, but we offer monthly subscriptions as well.
Our prototype shows accuracies up to 93%. With further research and development, we are planning to make our models more robust and have higher accuracies.
